The world stopped on September 11, 2001. On September 12th, the world heard their stories. New to the Broadway scene, Come From Away is a heartwarming and moving musical about 7,000 passengers stranded in Newfoundland as a result of the attacks in NYC. Watch as locals welcome the stranded strangers with open arms, hear their stories, and have your faith in humanity restored.

How long is the show?
The show is approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes long, with no intermission.
Is this show appropriate for children?
Due to the nature of the show’s theme, it is recommended for audiences 10 and up.
Is the show based on true events?
Yes. To create the musical, Canadian writers Irene Sankoff and David Hein went to Newfoundland for the 10th Anniversary commemoration of that fateful week. They collected hundreds of hours of interviews that have now been displayed in the 100-minute show.

Is the theater wheelchair accessible?
Theatre is not completely wheelchair accessible. There are no steps into the theatre from the sidewalk. However, there are steps either into and within the theater. Staff is unable to provide assistance. Seating is accessible to all parts of the Orchestra without steps. There are no steps to the designated wheelchair seating location.
Are there devices for the hard-of-hearing?
Yes. Available free-of-charge inside the lobby.
Where is show merchandise available?
A limited selection in the lobby during the day when the box office is open.
What time should I arrive at the theater?
Doors open 45 minutes before show time. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before show time.
Are there concessions inside the theater?
Yes. Soft drinks, water, cocktails, candy, and show merchandise (no food). Food is strictly prohibited in the theater.
Can I take photographs of the show?
Recording devices of any kind are strictly prohibited.
